The Force Of Hope EDC hosted Dr. Mohammad Quyoumi, President of California State University East Bay (Hayward) as guest speaker for CSU Super Sunday 24 February. Three local high school seniors received Force Of Hope EDC Schlolarships4Books awards for Fall 2008 enrollment.

Force Of Hope Economic Development Corporation in partnership with U.S. HUD Center for Faith Based & Community Initiatives, hosted the "Art And Science Of Grant Writing" Certification Seminars for Faith Based and Community Organizations in the Los Angeles Area. Forty-two participants received Certification from attending the seminars. Ms. Cheryl Appline was authorized by the White House Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives to facilitate the workshops. |
