Los Angeles BIG SUNDAY 2009 Do-Brunch
Force Of Hope EDC hosted its 3rd annual Los Angeles BIG SUNDAY 2009 Do-Brunch, on Sunday 3rd May. Special guests were provided round-trip transportation to and from the event. A very special "Thank You" for the delicious brunch which was catered by our partners Dulan's Catering and Unique Events & Planning Catering. Special guests also received gifts of hair cuts and hair styles, clothing, personal care products and snacks to-go. Dr. Clarence E. McClendon, Founder and Chairman stopped by to greet everyone and to offer words of encouragment. Also, special thanks for the volunteers from Wells Fargo Bank, and everyone who contributed to make BIG SUNDAY '09 Project #27 a big success this year! BIG SUNDAY is the largest regional community service and volunteerism event in America.

Community Shopping Day 2009
Force Of Hope EDC hosted Community Shopping Day 2009, Saturday 16 May; at Macy's Del Amo Mall with musical presentations by recording artist Mekeda, and Karla a guitarist and songwriter. Additionally, Force Of Hope EDC hosted a Fashion Show for youth featuring prom and graduation apparel! Special thanks to Macy's and their Management for inviting Force Of Hope EDC to participate. Full Harvest International hosted CSU Super Sunday 2009, with a presentation by Dr. James Rosser, President of California State University Los Angeles; who shared news and information about how to attend any of the twenty-three (23) CSU Campuses. Additionally, CSU Staff were on-hand to answer any questions regarding admissions, the application process, financial aid, student services, degrees and the Early Assessment Program!
